Three stage filtering with metallic and acrylic filters
The ICAP filtered fume extractor has been designed to extract welding fumes in places where welding work is carried out on an occasional basis, for example, spot welding or seam or arc welding. It is designed to be local exhaust ventilation (LEV), at-source fume extraction.
The extracted fumes initially pass through a plenum which slows the flow of air and allows its correct passage through the filters. The filters consist of a series of metallic and acrylic components which guarantee maximum levels of filtration, and vary depending on the version of the machine. With the inclusion of an activated 10kg carbon filter (see Optional Accessories below), deodorisation can be achieved.
