Wall-mounted with three stage filtering - activated carbon filter (10kg), metallic and acrylic filters
The ICAP filter has been designed to extract welding fumes in places where welding work is carried out on an occasional basis, for example, spot welding or seam or arc welding. It is designed to be local exhaust ventilation (LEV), at-source fume extraction.
The extracted fumes initially pass through a plenum which slows the flow of air and allows its correct passage through the filters. The filters consist of a series of metallic and acrylic components which guarantee maximum levels of filtration, and vary depending on the version of the machine. In addition, deodorisation is achieved using an activated carbon filter (10 kg), before releasing the filtered air into the environment.
