The UNI3.2 is Aerservices' latest offering in the mobile filtered fume extractor range (it sits between the UNI2.2 and the UNI4.2 in terms of size and functionality). It is suitable for the extraction and filtration of welding fumes as well as dust from grinding, sanding and manual plasma cutting. It effectively captures fumes at source - it is designed to be local exhaust ventilation (LEV) and meet the new Australian welding fume exposure standards.
It features a new filtration system which is self-cleaning and provides 99% efficiency. It also includes options for single or double cartridge filters, and can be configured with single or double arms.
The UNI3.2 is not suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.
This unit comes with an external self-supporting articulated aluminium arm.
Pre-separation chamber and filter cartridges: The UNI3.2 comes standard with a filtration system that comprises a pre-separation chamber for the removal of heavy dust and sparks, and cartridge filter(s) over a second tray for finer dust and particles. Depending on requirements and model selected, the UNI3.2 can include a single filter cartridge or double filter cartridges. A carbon filter can be added as an optional.
Self-cleaning filters: The UNI3.2 differs from the EVO, the UNI2.2 and the UNI4.2 because it has a self-cleaning filter system, powered by compressed air which cleans at the beginning and end of use.
Single or double arms: It should be used with the Armotech self-supporting articulated arms (Ø160mm with hood). Depending on requirements and model selected, it can be configured for single or double arms.
