The JetBlack Safety Hybrid Personnel Cleaning Booth is a self-contained, semi-automatic de-dusting system guaranteed to meet or exceed OHS requirements. It removes, extracts, AND collects dust and debris from workers' dirty clothes. It is electric and uses no compressed air – contaminated workers can continuously enter and exit the unit without having to wait for a compressor tank to re-fill. It is a completely safe alternative to using compressed air (see Dangers of Using Compressed Air) and is much easier to use than alternative vacuum systems.
The JetBlack Safety Hybrid Personnel Cleaning Booth incorporates a 6 nozzle reciprocating motion air delivery system which delivers a high volume of filtered air at low pressure, sufficient to remove powders and dust effectively and safely, hands-fee, even when directed at exposed skin. And to gain extra cleaning flexibility, a hand-held JetBlack hose and nozzle is also included inside the booth to enable full cleaning coverage.
All dust and fibres are drawn down and away through the floor by an extractor system and collected either in a HEPA extractor or vented directly into your existing exhaust system.
The booth comes standard with twin doors, but workers can enter and exit out the same door if preferred.
